The slag is easily removable and smoke emissions are very low. It is suitable for welding unalloyed and medium-strength carbon-manganese structural steels and produces excellent root beads on ceramic substrates. Easy application and high productivity combined with good mechanical properties and a hydrogen content in the weld metal of less than 4 ml\/100 g make MEGAFIL® 713 R an extremely versatile filler wire for general applications.
