It corresponds to type E 19 12 3 L R \/ E316L-17 and is preferably suitable for processing austenitic steels such as 1.4404 and 1.4435 \/ 316L. This electrode is characterized by a high current-carrying capacity and produces extremely attractive, clean weld seams with minimal spatter. In addition, the slag is easily removed. The maximum operating temperature is 400ºC.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSome important notes: The recommended heat input should be a maximum of 2.0 kJ\/mm, and the interpass temperature should not exceed 150ºC. Normally, no heat treatment is required, but in special cases, solution annealing can be carried out at 1050ºC.
