Description:
By combining the optimal properties of split leather and flame-retardant cotton, the ESAB FR/Leather Welding Jacket offers fantastic protection against welding spatter in a comfortable jacket that is lighter than an all-leather version. This combination jacket features three generous inner pockets, where all essential items can be stored without hot materials getting caught inside them. A full-length hook-and-loop closure system with a stand-up collar at the front keeps hot material out while remaining quick and easy to open.
The wide sleeves with adjustable cuffs are designed for comfort and protection, ensuring a good fit. Underarm gussets ensure the sleeves remain fully covered even when welding overhead.
Intended use:
Class 2 - recommended for manual welding processes with high levels of spatter and droplets, e.g., MMA welding (with basic or cellulose-coated electrodes), MAG welding (CO2 or mixed gases), MIG welding (with high current), gas shielded welding, plasma cutting, air carbon arc gouging, oxy-fuel cutting, thermal spraying for machine operation, e.g., in confined spaces, when welding/cutting overhead, or in restricted positions. This clothing is intended to protect against flames, molten metal, spatter, radiant heat, and brief, accidental electrical contact.
