Description:

The 100% split leather jacket offers ultimate protection against welding spatters and molten materials. Special features include an internal tool pocket and an FR-lined stand-up collar with Velcro closure. The fully protected front snap buttons allow for easy putting on and taking off.

Maximum comfort provided by underarm gussets to minimize sleeve movement when working overhead and to ensure full arm coverage at all times. Two snap buttons at the wrist ensure a custom and secure fit.

Intended use:

Class 2 - recommended for manual welding processes involving high levels of spatter and droplets, e.g., MMA welding (with basic or cellulose electrodes), MAG welding (CO2 or mixed gases), MIG welding (at high current levels), inert gas welding, plasma cutting, air carbon arc gouging, oxy-fuel cutting, thermal spraying for machine operation, e.g., in confined spaces, when welding/cutting overhead, or in restricted positions. This clothing is designed to protect against flames, molten metal, spatter, radiant heat, and short-term, accidental electrical contact.
