Böhler Q G4 is a versatile welding wire suitable for general applications in multi-pass welding. For GMAW (MIG/MAG) welding. Particularly well-suited for sheet metal applications. Low-spatter metal transfer in both short and spray arcs. Notch toughness down to -40 °C. Good wetting of the weld flank. Fine-droplet metal transfer.

Easy ignition and re-ignition. Increased protection against rusting due to final surface coating.

General: Suitable for non-alloy and low-alloy steels or cast steel up to 460 N/mm² yield strength. Can be used with CO2 and Ar/CO2 or Ar/CO2/O2 shielding gas.
