Böhler Stick Electrodes Phoenix CEL 70
Böhler Phoenix CEL 70 stick electrodes for low- and medium-alloy steels
- Good gap bridging properties
- For tack welding
- For vertical-down welding
- Excellent striking properties
- Slag largely self-detaching
- Root pass welding
- CTOD, HIC, and HSCC tested
Böhler Phoenix CEL 70 stick electrodes can be used in many areas for repair, assembly, and workshop welding. Assembly work can be carried out with constant current in all positions. Particularly suitable for vertical-down welding of circumferential pipe welds (pipelines) and for root pass welding. Also suitable for welding in the vertical-up position. Fine-rippled material transfer. Also well-suited for beginners due to simple handling.
Exhibits high cost-efficiency compared to vertical-up welding, even in combination with basic vertical-down electrodes.
Simple striking and restriking. Relatively insensitive to impurities in the weld seam area. Stable arc and good X-ray soundness.
Böhler Phoenix CEL 70 stick electrodes can also be used on small transformers and are weldable with 42V safety voltage.
