Description:

The Böhler Phoenix Cel 85 is a high-strength stick electrode with a cellulose coating and is excellently suited for vertical-down welding on large-diameter pipelines. It offers high cost-efficiency compared to vertical-up welding and is particularly suitable for hot pass, filler, and cover pass welding on high-strength pipe steels. BÖHLER FOX CEL 85 is one of the most widely used cellulose electrodes and meets the highest quality standards in large-diameter pipeline construction. It is characterized by very intense, fine-droplet melting behavior and offers good toughness properties. Furthermore, it is resistant to weather conditions. The BÖHLER FOX CEL 85 is also suitable for use in sour gas environments and meets the requirements of the HIC test according to NACE TM-02-84. Values for the SSC test are also available.
