ESAB OK 48.00 Stick Electrode

Versatile, basic-coated stick electrode with excellent welding properties for repair and assembly work. Smooth and stable arc. Very low diffusible hydrogen content in the weld metal to reduce the risk of cold cracking. Suitable for all welding positions except vertical down. Also easy for inexperienced welders to handle due to its ease of use. The electrode offers the highest quality from the root pass to the cover pass, unaffected by wall thickness or welding conditions. Excellent weld seam appearance. The electrode provides reliably high mechanical and technological quality values of the weld metal.

Offers low moisture absorption of the coating.

Pleasant welding behavior, especially for vertical-up welds.
