Description:

Universal electrode for joining and surfacing similar steels, manganese hard steels, and difficult-to-weld steels. Highly versatile, stainless, cavitation and wear-resistant (hardness approx. 220 HB), heat and scaling resistant up to approx. 1150 °C. Also suitable for austenitic-ferritic joints with seam or wall thicknesses up to 20 mm (max. 300 °C), though the position in the Schaeffler diagram must be considered. Insensitive to dilution from the base material, highly crack and corrosion-resistant. Well-suited for hot-work tools, plastic molding tools, etc. For 1.3401, difficult and conditionally weldable steels, black-and-white joints, repairs, etc.
