Description: 

OK GoldRox is a versatile rutile-cellulosic electrode suitable for all welding positions, including vertical-down (PG) and overhead (PE) positions. It offers excellent striking and restriking properties and bridges gaps well, making it ideal for tack welding. The arc is very stable with minimal spatter, and the electrode is resistant to porosity, even when working with primer and mill scale. It is particularly easy to handle, making it suitable for both DIY enthusiasts and experienced welders. The electrode can be used with all current types, with welding preferably performed on the negative pole, but it is also possible on the positive pole and with welding transformers having a minimum open-circuit voltage of 50 V. The slag is easily removed, which reduces cleaning effort. The electrode is recommended for applications in metal construction, light steel construction, tank construction, and shipbuilding as a tack and assembly electrode. The characteristic yellow coating with ignition tip makes the OK GoldRox easily recognizable. It is available in various packaging sizes, which are fully recyclable.
