Lincoln Electric SUPRA Stick Electrodes
- Smooth, slightly concave beads (vertical-down welding)
- Good gap bridging properties
- For tack welding
- For vertical-down welding
- Slag is partially self-detaching
- Notch-free transition to the base material
Lincoln Supra rutile-cellulosic coated stick electrodes can be used in many areas for repair, assembly, and workshop welding. Assembly work can be carried out in all positions with consistent amperage. Suitable for operating temperatures from 0 °C to 450 °C. Quiet, stable arc. Weldable with direct and alternating current. Easy to handle, making them manageable even for inexperienced welders. Coarse-droplet metal transfer.
Easy striking and restriking. Relatively insensitive to contamination in the weld area.
The stick electrodes can also be used with 220V mains transformers and are weldable at 42V protective voltage. Oerlikon Overcord Z is recommended for a softer arc.
General: Due to the powerful arc, only limited suitability for galvanized steels
