MT-NiFe – Nickel-Iron Rod Electrode for High-Quality Cast Iron Welding
The MT-NiFe is a basic-graphitic coated rod electrode with a nickel-iron core rod for reliable welding of cast iron. It was specially developed for dissimilar cast iron welding and is ideal for repair, maintenance, and surfacing welding.
Its nickel-iron alloy enables a particularly well machinable weld seam and reduces the risk of cracking in difficult-to-weld cast materials.
Standard Designations
-
EN ISO 1071: E C NiFe 11
-
AWS/ASME SFA-5.15: E NiFe-CI
Applications
-
Cast iron with nodular graphite (EN-GJL-100 / GG10 to EN-GJL-350 / GG35)
-
