High-alloy, stainless TIG rod (1000 mm) for special applications. Standard designation EN ISO 14343-A: W Z 18 16 5 Mn N L, AWS A5.9/SFA-5.9: ER317L (mod.). Increased resistance to chloride-containing media and pitting corrosion due to the high molybdenum content, non-magnetizable. Suitable for welding and surfacing of similar and dissimilar austenitic stainless CrNiMo(N) steels such as 1.4429, 1.4436, 1.4438, 1.4439 and 1.4583 (AISI 316Cb, 316LN, 317L, 317LN). Operating temperature -269 °C to 400 °C. Current type DC, shielding gas according to EN ISO 14175: I1 (Argon). Rod marking W Z 18 16 5 Mn NL / 1.4453. Approvals: TÜV (11506), DNV, CE.
